In many parts of the world, the average life expectancy is between 60 and 65 years. Meanwhile, scientists are constantly experimenting with new methods to increase human lifespan. One scientist even claims that humans could soon live up to 180 years. But this is not the case now.
The scientists claim that in the next 80 years, the life span of a human being can be up to 130 years. According to him, by the end of the century, human life expectancy will be 180 years, a surprising claim made by Leo Belgil, a professor at HEC Montreal.
He says the record for the oldest surviving person could be broken by 2100. The record for the longest living person is currently held by Jean Calment of France. She died in 1997 at the age of 122.
